Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

For the first time in nearly three weeks there's no World Cup football. The hours previously occupied by games now need to be filled, but how?

I shall mostly be curled in a ball in the corner of my bedroom scouring he net for highlights of previous matches. Every site will of course be set to vuvuzela mode.

And I might even get a full night's sleep for a change.

Was thinking this on the drive into work this morning, usually I get home just in time for the 3 o'clock kick off. Now what am I supposed to do between the hours of three and five?

WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?!?!?

well, I had planned on a game of football and a cycle, but I am going to a removal instead.

Still a bit tired and sore from starting the CouchTo5k thing yesterday and the (first ever, and very poor) game of squash yesterday too.

Think i might just make some random pointles threads in the soccer forum about stuff that happened a couple of years ago or some stuff that doesn't realy need a thread. I like the attention. After that i'll leave some ****ty comments on my facebook page and then tell people about it so it gets around (i'm cool). Then i might be a complete pedant and pick apart peoples sigs for an hour or more, after i'm banned for that, i'll set up a new novelty account with a witty username and off to prison i go where i'll pester Gordon. Can't wait to be honest.

I might actually go to bed this evening for the first time since Wednesday rather than trying to stay up and falling asleep on the couch and waking up groggy for work (only saw the Korea- Uruguay and England- Germany matches this week because I was on the lash. Watching home alone is impossible)

The first two weren't bad, but I heartily agreed in relation to all further sequels.

i do love the scene in the first one where he steals the toothbrush, and then feels really bad after it.

Also, I like how he learns nothing with regards to pre-judging people from the first one, and thinks the bird lady in the park in the second is a freak out to kill him and everyone else.

This is what happens when there's no live football and people have too much on their hands to think.

It's going to be long two days til Friday.

A healthy does of prejudice keeps you alive Mitch. You gotta keep your head ona swivel in a situation like that.

Nah, I meant some tomato sauce for pasta dishes etc. I always make it from scratch, and there were some lovely beef tomatoes at the farmer's market last weekend, so picked up a few.

    Can't beat fresh tomato sauce.

I pity the fools who eat Dolmio

Clean the house proper, have to transfer some plants from the greenhouse to the ground must do that aswell.Make a big batch of spaghetti bolognese and freeze some and I've to head down the town to pay a few bills.

Or maybe I could just hang around the tennis forum all day and pretend I'm an expert at that!

I'm doing a presentation next week that I've known about since before the start of the World Cup...today seemed like the perfect day to start working on it.
