Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Are Argentina allergic to crossing the ball in from the wings?!

Are Germany trying to hold onto their one goal advantage. Looking very defensive.

Di Maria has such a long, narrow head. Really should think twice about that mohawk.

Dont see how so many still reckon a Argy win.. Dont get me wrong they could, but the Germans have outclassed them tacticaly all day

Letting the opposition have most of the possession is never a good tactic.

It's still an even game imo

Normally I like tevez, but he's been a disgrace in this game. I hope Maradona takes him off or he gets sent off. Here's a summary of his first half.

Someone touches Tevez: Jumps in the air like he's shot.
Someone makes an excellent tackle on Tevez: Has a fit at the ref cos he thinks it's a free.
Tevez fouls someone, he's absolutly miles away from the ball and takes the player out of it: He has a fit at the ref for giving the free and he points at the ball.
A german commits a foul, nothing serious but Tevez not involved: Tevez going mental with the ref cos he didn't give a yellow card.

Ye odd for Germany to let a team have more possesion... Germany 44.8% - 55.2% England.... 4-1

Different game with a different flow. Germany kept a hold of the ball when they needed to in that game. They haven't in this game. Hence Argentina are still well in it.

I just don't understand why Juan Veron is not on the pitch. His vision and passing is badly needed by Argentina.

    Argies are bursting forward...

Hope this free kick hits the back of the net!

It's okay, they have Maxi Rodriguez, who's been living off the reputation of having a decent tournament in 2006 for the last 4 years.

Come on Germany, get yer shape together.

As a German fan I'm pretty worried, it feels like a matter of minutes before Argentina find the net

What a fantastic game, the pace is something else and its really end to end. I can see Argentina getting caught on the break, they're committing so many men forward its bound to happen. Boateng is the man of the match for me so far, he's coped with Di Maria and Messi comfortably.
