Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ozil would make a fantastic Bond villan!

    Or indeed an English actor

    Germany are scarily good.

    Demolishing everyone. (Serbia nonwithstanding)

The right back position for Argentina appears to be cursed by inepitude.

Lovely smooth football by Germany but its been far too easy where it needed to be hardest.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,178 ✭✭✭_Bella_

Move over Messi! Its a toss up between Muller, Ozil and Schweinsteiger for the Golden Ball ;)

If they had kept more of the ball in that game they would have won by even more tbh.
They didn't need to do any more to beat the English.

Its like argentina have only 9 men sometimes. They are useless today, Germany the much much better team and fair play to them. 5 star performance from them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,862 ✭✭✭✭inforfun

That is the 2nd overrated team from S. America found out in 2 days.

edit: Let me change that sig.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,178 ✭✭✭_Bella_

That must have been 15 metres over, hope the Argentinians don't go crazy after the match

Klose 13 goals in WC finals. Outstanding.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

That's German efficiency there he pulls off a great tackle and fixes his armband

  • Site Banned Posts: 5,676 ✭✭✭jayteecork

    Germans don't really play abroad.

I think the entire squad plays in the Bundesliga. (correct me if I'm wrong, Ballack would have been the exception)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,416 ✭✭✭Jimmy Iovine

Kevin-Prince Boateng should be given some citizenship award for injuring Ballack before the tournament. They wouldn't be half the team with him in it and he's not the kind of chap you could leave out. He'd never have made the run Schweinsteiger did for the third goal

I bet on the Germans to reach the semis with PP before the WC started.

Do I still win if they go on to make the final?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,178 ✭✭✭_Bella_

So I guess the big question now is will Messi score in this tournament
