Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Well in Holland. Superb effort.

Odds on Brazil half time/Holland full time would've been sweet.

Better team won. Dutch had a better attitude. Dunga sacked now. The Brazilian media will torture him!

Ha! Thats what happens in a change strip and no Lucas. ;)

How slow was Robben/Van Persie (I forget) to get a shot off?. The Dutch are through but I think Uruguay could fancy thier chances.

Think Brazil thought they only had to turn up. Not their fault though, but the hype around them.

Lol. I've backed Holland as well. Mind you Kuyt was on radio this morning saying that there was great belief in the side and fair play to them. Sad Brazil are gone though.

ESPN - "What does Van Bommel have to do to get a card? Kick the referee?"

Ok they didn't play great but look at how holland won, their first goal was made from a dive, van bommel should have been sent off, heitinga off the ball challenge on fabiano.

Real Madrid is a bad career move for some players i.e Kaka Benzema Ronaldo, seems like their not as good for their country when they join that club

So the Netherlands world cup campaign.

    Today was match 13
    Today was win 13

Brazil's goal I think was Netherlands 5th the goal conceded during their entire campaign.

I think it would take a brave man to bet against them!

Liam Brady is showing how retarded he is by saying "I don't think they won it by football, I think they won it on temperment".

    What a fool. ****ing idiot.

    "Football was the loser today."

That save the keeper made in the first half against the Kaka won them the game.
One of the best saves I've seen.

That was bizarre at the end when 2 Dutch men were alone in the Brazil goal and somehow didn't score.

    Crazy game. Enjoyable though.

Dunphy was a loser today as well. I think he said he had a good amount on Brazil. :pac:

The Dutch won on skill and soccer. Brazil lost their heads because the Dutch were getting around them all the time.

That's what happens when you're the strong favourites and can't get a touch of the ball, you foul.

    What a clown.
Er, it was hardly a footballing spectacle. One goalkeeping howler and setpiece, so there is merit in what Brady is saying.

You can't say that. Any team on their day can win. Especially if it is Uruguay with their strikeforce.

What odds a repeat of the original World Cup Final now?
