Toughest climbs in London

Please let me know what you think are the toughest hills in London and outer London. I want to improve my ability to climb.

These aren't even climbs for some of you who live in the Wicklow mountains. Nevertheless here is my list for north London, in no order of difficulty:

• Swain's Ln - To Highgate village through the cemetery
• Highgate W hill - From Hampstead Heath to Highgate village
• Muswell Hill - From Crouch end
• Highgate Hill - From Archway to Highgate village

Yeah Surrey hills are lovely to ride!!

Box hill is a good little climb especially after doing the drags on the way out of town!

I used to live at the bottom of Muswell Hill. Very steep. Buses have a hard time making it up. However there are some steeper ones if you really want it hard.. off the broadway, if you know where toffs is, the roads down the hill from the broadway on that side of the road are insanely steep. If you go down the road by the side of saint james's church, then turn right just after the pub, that road is again really steep-very short but very steep. All those roads are hilly as f**k..
