Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I accidentally watched it :) for a few seconds last week and it was still 4:3. Haven't checked in the last few days.

Nobody knows? Or will no one admit to watching 3e :)

Flicked over to 105 just now (having read this), and of course the answer is no, they have'nt sorted it out yet. They're probably not worried about aspect ratio as hardly anybody seems to watch it. And up here in 'the North' only those of us with irish Sky can receive it at all.

Actually, slightly off topic, but does anyone know if 3e will be part of the DTT roll out in October(I think)? If it isn't ,that will mean it is an Irish channel that you only get by paying sky or upc?!

I doubt it. Not at least until DTT reaches a significant enough audience for TV3 to pay for carriage.

I actually hope it'll never appear. They are technically incompetent and their content is no more Irish than the Queen.:rolleyes:

No!! However, economic situation is forcing me to go down the FTA route. I have an MPEG4 TV and 3e show UEFA cup etc, so I am just trying to source as many channels as I can!

What I am watching on RTE DTT is crystal clear and picture is just as good as Sky! At least I won't have to pay Sky to get the "proper" version of OUR channels for much longer!

You will get UEFA cup etc on Ch5 and ITV4 on Free To Air satellite.

And almost certainly the one on either Ch5 or on any of the Itvs will be what 3e would be showing. So no loss there.

There's no widescreen on 3e again. Was going to watch the Liverpool match but settled for Setanta Ireland's coverage of Sevilla and Dortmund.
