Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey

I have a commuter/hybrid type bike made by Dawes. I was thinking of buying some new wheels off the internet for it but not sure what size my wheels are! (A very recreational cyclist!) However, I also have a puncture so was replacing an inner tube and saw that the tube said 700 x 35. Is it possible to discern my wheel size from that?

Should be but there is always the possibility that someone fitted the wrong tube. Read the size off the sidewall of the tyre. It's likely going to say 700x35 also. That means you have a 700c wheel but thee will still be width differences.

The 700x35 measurement is outer diameter of tyre and width of tyre but you can put different width tyre on the same rim up to a point.
