Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I don't know why I just don't like it after looking at all of the pictures.

It looks a bit bloated and fat to me especially towards the rear. Annoyed as I generally like Lexus's (Lexi: not sure which it is)

is it me, or does it look a bit misshaped?

Does anyone else think that the new baby Lexus looks a little like a cross between a Lancer and Impreza and invariably ends up looking a bit rubbish because of this

It looks like they thought, "Let's have massive front doors and windows....just squash the rest in!". The car goes from just okay at the front half, then they just stopped and slapped it together. I mean WTF!
    Horrible looking thing:eek:

It's like a hearse down the back, and IS 200 at the front and a Scooby doo from the C pillar to the A pillar.

Easy way to say all that, it's meh

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Shocking. Easily the ugliest small family hatch in a decade. Way worse than even the current Impreza and Lancer. Do Toyota not run new designs by panels of potential buyers or something? Or did they not include Europeans in those panels?

The car obviously has a target market, that being a upper middle class early 20's junior accountant, that cant be left out of ''what car is yours'' in the staff car park.

Side profile looks a bit Seatish too, don't like.

Looks like the bastard love child of a Seat Toledo and a Toyota Corolla

While it may be pitched at the mediocre BMW 1 series hatch, it's a really shoddy effort.

It just looks like about 5 other cars on the market already.

    Lazy design. Very disappointing

    no torque info available yet

could be an easy way to get a 2.5 liter with class A carbon

are you losing sight of the fact that it is a hatchback

There is a sedan version you know

looks like a bastardisation of a 3door fiat stilo imo

Looks better than the Impreza anyway!

    I think it looks nice!

Doesn't look any worse to me than the A3 and 1 Series hatchbacks at which it is aimed as a competitor to. Personally I have no interest in any of these watered down "affordable premium" offerings.

Reminds me of the latest version of the Volkswagen Scirocco

I don't think the proper hybrid version will be available outside Japan.

I like it...at least cars that are either ugly or good looking get noticed. Better than the usual blandbox imo
