Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Guys,

Just wondering how I can take a picture with as good a quality as this. I am using a Cannon EOS30D with an 18-55mm lense. I know I may need a longer lense but is there anyway I can get close??

    Heres the pic.

    Cheers

18-55mm is a good enough range for a picture like that. You might want to use a polarizer filter as well depending on the sky and shine and the rest is photoshop.

The background is desaturised and the main subject is in full color, add some contrast and there you go.

Yeah I was wondering about the filter alright, just brings out the colour in the pics dosnt it?? sorry still learning!

I noticed he used a few different external flashes. then did he take the two pics at once and each flash or 2 seperate shots. ie. could paddy have not just used 1 flash on the front and then moved it to the back for the next?
