Missed the goal, Was it bad defending or a GK error?

decent shot from outside the box but the defence made no attempt to close him down. Nothing the keeper could have done.

Very poor stuff from Arsenal so far - giving the ball away far too much.

Not goalkeeping anyway. Wasn't paying enough attention, but it flew in. Maybe he was given a bit too much space to shoot, but I'm not sure.

It was neither really. TV could have closed down a little quicker but the shot was a thunderbolt from about 25 - 30 yards. Fab had no chance. Cracking strike.

See del Bosque has left Reina and Torres at home for the Mexico trip, but insists on bringing Fabregas? I bet he plays 60-90 mins too, ridiculous!

Arsenal players seem to be dropping likes flies.. Walcott and someone else there looked liked they picked up injuries. Thankfully they are ok!

He obviously intends playing him for a change..

Comedy capers at the back there

3-0 Sweet finish but hapless defending.

Comedy stuff at the back from Arsenal- granted is only a pre season kick about but this is bad stuff.

Ye badly need an experienced GK in there to organise ye from corners.

    Chamakh attack!!!

3-1 good brave header by Chamakh. Left the keeper in a hoop.

Have to laugh at the Liverpool fans taking comfort in this. It is worrying, but I reckon we'll get a draw at worst in Anfield!

Lol at Arsenal defending. They need a good goalkeeper pretty badly.

Compared to where we were when the fixtures came out, we're about 1000% better off (keeping Torres, keeping Gerrard, signing Cole, Jovanovic looking decent, keeping Aurelio, having Masch for the moment, having Insua for the moment, getting rid of Degen)

Not expecting an easy match but at least we have some sort of decent team and looked somewhat in form against Rabots even though they were pretty much a notch up from pub team.

how is chamakh doing for you so far? has he played much?
what looks like his best position??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 606 ✭✭✭gibson

What is going on, I know its a friendly but this is our strongest available team

If what Wenger said pre match was true that he still doesnt know who his number 1 is a week before we start the season then its complete joke! He's had long enough to sort out the keeper situation not to mention the fact we look like going into the season with only 3 senior centre backs :(:confused:

A lot of fans said this was an important summer for Wenger and unless he pulls a rabbit out of the hat between now and the end of the transfer window then he's definitely failed. And actually that should really be between now and next week because these possible errors could cost us points in the matches before transfer window closes

my god its frustrating being an Arsenal fan lol :D

If it's 4-3-3 then he's an obvious candidate for the front position but with Wenger's thinking and RVP excelling there last year, he might be in a wide role.

Based on the last year or so and the 45 minutes I just saw, I really don't want Walcott starting any games until he finds some form.

He's been totally rubbish and his one trick has been exposed as utterly useless while the opposing team aren't chasing the game.

In short and though it pains me to say this, he's a poor man's Lennon.

    Disgusting stuff.

Even worse is clowns like Denilson, Diaby and Almunia will be welcomed back to the side and hailed by Wenger.

    Feel like throwing up....

    Thank fúck for that:

    It'll catch on yet ;)

Three years now and still haven't sorted the goalkeeping if we played all 3 at the same time we would still concede more than other "title" challengers...if Arsene doesn't but a keeper it will cost us as we have seen in previous years and to be honest id say Wenger should feck off with them at the end of the season if he continues to support the 3 clowns.
