Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Xbox Red ring - Warranty Question

    Lads, I know there is a seperate thread but I want some advice in general!

    Bought Xbox Jun 2006

    Red ringed March 2008, replaced whole console apart form shell.

    Red ringed June 2010, 2 years later

    So in 4 years red ringed twice ,rang ms who told me to get lost as its out of warranty. Spoke to a couple of managers who advised it shouldnt last for ever.

    Which I agree but I thought their fix would last for more than 2 years.

    So my question is should I keep chasing this? or write it off?

    A warranty from them would only last two years anyway. And logic would tell me that they wouldn't be quick to offer warranties on repaired consoles. So I'd say they got ya by the balls. Might wana fix it yourself.
