Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

oldest photo on your computer

    just going by file timestamp here, this dates from 5th May 2002, which probably would have been the date i scanned it.

    I don't keep photographs on my pc or anywhere but on my Pixie this appears to have been the 1st I uploaded..Jan 6th 2008 (when I 1st started off I guess)

    Depends on what you mean by "oldest photo". I have some images
    scanned from old B&W photographs from the 1940s.

    My first scanned images were scanned with a Logitech
    hand held B&W scanner in the late 1980s. I don't think
    I have any of those on my computer so they don't count.

    I got a colour scanner in the 1990s. I have lots of images
    from that. I think my first digital camera images were
    from a borrowed camera in 1998 ish.

    The first digital camera I owned was a 1999 vintage
    Fujifilm DX-10 which is still in perfect working order.

    This one is the oldest photo on my computer. Tom was my grand uncle (they were all mechanical nutters: my granddad automated his wheelchair!!) and this is a scan of a family photo published in a book.

    As for my own photos; Im not into photography long and this is the oldest one on my pix.ie. Its Limericks christmas tree last year reflected in the water
