Currency Exchange- Euro to Swedish Krona

    Hi just wondering what charges are there in place for currency exchange, i'm going to sweden next month and i'm wondering is it cheaper over here or over in sweden to change the money?

    I think it was cheaper to buy here when I went to Stockholm in January. Although I got a staff rate so I dont know exactly. In general Sweden is a very expensive country so I would say they will have higher commission rates etc.

    The only difference in the exchange rates would be small unless you are changing thousands. Try a couple of banks to compare the rates. Alternativitly you could use a debit card (laser, visa) check with your bank for fees on them first.

    Im a regular traveller to Sweden, and i never change money here. I use my debit card (Laser) or change the currency in Sweden (Forex is a good choice there)

    POS are free of charge in Sweden also (Laser anyway)

    I checked one time the exchange rate at Dublin airport (it was one bank in the entrance hall) and the exchange rate was a joke.
