    Hi,

Sorry if this has been covered in another thread, but I haven't seen it if it has. Does anyone know where I might pick up some baseball gear in Dublin, ideally in the city centre? I'm not looking for anything too professional or expensive, just something to mess around with, maybe a bat, ball and couple of gloves. I've seen a few sets on the Argos website, but they don't have gloves on their own and don't want to have to buy two sets. If anyone has any ideas on cost too, that would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

I think I remember seeing some stuff in Elverys on Suffolk St, upstairs near the cricket gear, but I cant remember how good it was or how much.

Someone else might know of somewhere else around town but your best bet might be to look online. Youll certainly get a better choice.

Thanks for the reply. I tried Elverys today, but they only had kids sets. Online is probably the best bet. Saw some decent looking stuff on Amazon. Does anyone else know of other sites that might be good?

A quick google search turned these two up:

    http://www.baseballandsoftball.co.uk

    http://www.thebaseballshop.co.uk/

Both look pretty good, but any other suggestions would be appreciated.

http://www.covee.nl and http://www.forelle.com are both based in the Netherlands and have a pretty extensive selection. I've never used either though so I can't comment on them.

Wherever you order from, be sure to let us know how you get on

JJBs in Blanchardstown have some stuff. I only had a glance at it though as I walked by so I don't know if they only had kids stuff.

I bought from cover last month. Pants, belt, socks and cleats. Ordered on Tuesday and they arrived the following Monday. They did charge 35 euro delivery but worth it I think.

    Hi all,

Is there any sports shops around that sell authentic jerseys or will is online my only option?
The espn america shop seems the cheapest so far, any others I should check out?
    Thanks in advance

Online would be your best bet, the only thing you could probably get here is a Yankees sweatshirt/cap/tracksuit bottoms/bag/wooly hat or something that everyone seems to wear, and not because they like baseball. So yeah, online!
