Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Samsung NV5 won't charge!

    Hi
    My dad recently won a Samsung NV5 and I cannot get it to charge, when I plug it in it flashes red, green orange and then the light disappears, now I've put the battery in every way possible and the the camera will not switch on...does anyone have any advice for me?

    Can you say where he won it from??

    I received a prize for a company a while back that did not work either and when I returned it to the manufacturer they told me that it was not the first time had received this unit. even tough I was told the prize was a new item and it was boxed etc. :rolleyes:

    He won it at a GAA golf classic in his golf club (never had any trouble with prizes from there in the last 30 years). But it was sitting in the back of someone elses van for a week before Dad got it back off him and I'm worried with this warm weather that perhaps it's been damaged...it's so infuriating and the samsung website is no use at all.

    Problem solved, according to the Samsung helpdesk the camera is actually 4 years old, and not brand new like you'd expect a prize to be!

    Yeah was kind of thinking that.
    even prize giving has gotten corrupt nowadays.
