Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

gabardine school coat

    Does anyone here know where I can buy a gabardine coat like the ones we wore at school. Going to fanzy dress next week and some of us are dressing as school girls. Tried some school shops to no avail and even tried a few old department stores and vintage shops without any luck.

    Arnotts are the main suppliers of school uniforms so I would try there.

    There's a uniform shop in Portmarnock that I'm 99% sure stock them-they do all the uniforms of the main northside schools so I'd say they have them!

    A friend tried that shop in Portmarnock and they didn't have any coats.
    Arnotts don't have any.
    I thought some people might have a gabardine in their wardrobes or cloakrooms they might be willing to sell. I don't think schoolgirls wear them anymore.
