    Idea

Instead of having a club profile page,

Just have a match report profile.

This will make an easier outlook on matches in one thread than looking through dozen.

Well yeah that's what I meant. If someone else is definitely willing to do a match report every week then I will start up a match report thread.

I didn't mean for one to be started for every team.

So lets put a list together and see

so big wins for the balally and farmhouse they'll both fall away like always. good to see the ball gettin beaten again. heard kynns and the gallops both had trouble in there shops after games and the balally always has trouble goin try avoid goin to them away games. should put them in there own league

the fact that you havn't played for them yet means that you can sign for another team but you have to sign for your new team before they give their signing sheet to the committee.

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 12,359 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kingp35

It's probably too late to sign for another team as all team sheets are supposed to be in by now.

After only a few games this season's league is looking like it's gonna be an unpredictable one! Despite the early departure of new team O'Donoghues and the unfortunate pull out by the Rathnew lads the season has started of with a few suprises! Some strange results going on and it really is fairly open between 4-5 teams that can win it.

The Tassie A were the team on a good few peoples lips in the off season after getting a few very good players but have come unstuck a couple of times already but they have time to gel.

Bray Fishermans another team to get a few players through the summer and just like the Tassie will need time to gel but have no doubt the firepower to go far this season.

Farmhouse Red as we all know have a great young side full of potential and even after a good start it will be hard for them to stay with the top teams with such a waferthin squad but still well capable of beating anyone on the night.

Igo Inn are a strange bunch aren't they!!! After such a bad start they go out and beat a couple of the title fav's in The Tassie A and now the Noggin Inn but thats there problem just lacking that consistency and unpredictable at times but they certainly can turn it on!

Lough Inn have a solid bunch of players and despite the loss of Dave 'Bullet' Kellaghan for most of the season(Get well soon bud;)) they have got in a few very consistent sorts to help out that loss. Last year they'll be the first to admit for possibly taking there foot off the gas after the Kelly's saga but I think they will be back stronger this year and learnt form them mistakes.

Noggin Inn have had a very indifferent start to the season and very unlike them. Once again a solid bunch of players in Tom Hennesey,Mark Mulvaney,Jimmy Byrne they have players who can beat anybody on the day and if they get that hunger back from last year then who knows they could be back flying up that table.

The Gallops have started well with two wins from two but once again inconsistency may be there downfall. They have some good seasoned players and are capable of doing anythin on the night such as the last match of last season when they nearly ruined the Noggin Inn's party celebrations! Think a top 4 finish would be a good season for them.

Eniskerry even with a few familiar faces on board are still the relative unknowns this season and there after getting off to a very good start and are definightly dark horses this season for both league and cup.

The Tassie B have strentghened over the summer too with a couple of very good signings and are another team capable of causing a couple of shocks along the way through the season just like they did last year.

Kynes,Farmhouse Blue,The Ivory,The Eagles and Mickey Byrnes in my opinion fighting it out at the other end of the table and although there able to challenge in the front 5's its possible the lack of depth to their teams will hold them back for another season at least and maybe another season is needed before we get to see the best of Kynes and the Ivory but they will take points during the year no doubt. The other 3 teams have solid players scattered through there teams but once again inconsistency may prove there downfall and it could be just as tight in the relegation battle as it is at the top!

With a lot of players moving around and a lot of new signings and it looks like its taking time to settle for some teams but i can see them getting better through the season and making this one of the closest leagues in years!
Best of luck to all the teams through the season and with the singles and doubles not on till the the end of the season it will keep everyone interested all through the season and hopefully there will be no controversy this year!

    JR:D

Yeah this is true. I have been told that the pub will be changing hands this Sunday but it will remain open so it won't affect us. We won't know for certain though until Monday!

Has been a while since I was in the pub, The last time I was in the place was around two years ago the lounge looked like and felt like a kitchen showroom. Had one pint in the place and went to the kings.

Shame if the bar went the same as it was the best pub in Dalkey my a mile

Dabs is my uncle, living in London now. Shelly lived across the road from the house. Not sure which Finlays you're talking about, the only family I know are on the other side of Villas.

    Small world alright!

    Right gents

I've been sent 3 weeks results

I don't quite understand how 2 teams are free in any given week but how and ever

Results, Fixtures and Table for Dunlaoghaire Borough league

    Results - http://www.irldarts.com/leagues/dunlaoghaire-borough/results/

    Table - http://www.irldarts.com/leagues/dunlaoghaire-borough/table/

Could do with someone emailing me with full results each week if people want this to remain on site.

Ste Andrews had said he was going to do out the fixtures for me in the Team v Team per week format like the rest of the leagues but I dunno if he has done that or not. If someone wants to work that out I'll get Fixtures up on the site too

one of the teams (donoghues) pulled out of the league the day before the start and then another (fitzpatricks) pulled out after the 1st game, too late to redo the fixture list.we'll be sorting it out for the 2nd half of the season.
talking to ste last night about that,he said he'd be on to you,if not i'll do them out for you.
i'll be sending you week 4 and 5 results later on today.thanks aidan.

Silly who do play for. Everyone knows who people are on this. i was speaken to someone from fitzy's and he has finally got a team that will travel, some new players i hear as well, do not disrespect a team, they dont disrespect u. explain please

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13 skillbyname

4 against both the golden ball and 4 off enniskerry you'd want to retire if u lose against either of them

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13 skillbyname

lads its a forum its there to express your views on the darts issues . and fair play to fitz's if they do that this year but can't see it . any1 that tells me the standard in both leagues hasn't dropped over the last 2 years is a liar.
