Inaugural Kilkee Half marathon!

    Hands up who thinks Kilkee is tres pretty and a fantastic spot for a bit of running? Well I just got wind of a half marathon that is on there at the end of august, so plenty time for training! Looking forward to this already :)

    There's a full and half marathon on in Galway the same day. This is why AAI operates a permit system, to avoid such clashes.

    There is another Tres pretty half M up in that neck of the woods MarieC. €60 entry though. I haven't done a Half M since my only one in 2007 but that seems a bit steep to me. The 170m ascent over the first 6 miles is steep too!! :D

    Galway City Full and half marathons are clashing with Longford on the Sunday.

    I believe Longford has a permit. Not sure about Galway.
