Up to 50% off song packs from July 6th - 12th Xbox Only I think

Said I'd use a new thread rather than the DLC one so this might get noticed a bit more maybe, I'm cursing the fact I got some tracks from these already negating any savings for me as I'd be paying for something I already have in some cases :(
A term used pretty often around here is DLC, which stands for Downloadable Content. If you're unfamiliar with the term, DLC is the way video games add new content without releasing a new disc. For Rock Band, DLC means new songs. Harmonix has released new DLC for Rock Band every single week since the launch of the original Rock Band. If you've never bought Rock Band DLC before or if you are looking to add to your existing Rock Band DLC library, now is your chance!

Xbox LIVE is hosting LIVEapalooza, a HUGE sale for Xbox users starting July 6th! You can buy discounted tracks from Foo Fighters, Boston, Disturbed, The Killers, Oasis, Pearl Jam, Slipknot, Tom Petty, Weezer, and more! Check out the full list below! Tracks are discounted as much as 50% so get buying, because the sale ends July 12th!

Not at all!!!!!! This is microsoft's promo , It has little to do with harmonix if anything blame sony and nintendo for not running promo's. Lips and GH dlc is in the promo too.

I've edited the post to include pricing. Even at discounted rates you would need in the region of 12000 points to get everything.
Also note it's just the packs that are discounted NOT INDIVIDUAL TRACKS. Bit of a pain as I already have some tracks from some of the packs losing any saving I could make. I think I'll be saving my points and getting the Creedence dlc maybe.

I'll grab a couple of those albums... cheers!
Haven't played RB for a while, so time to blow some dust off the guitar.

I might get the Wolfmother pack sure.

@Hotaru Studios are always doin' dirty deals with Microsoft, they have money to throw at them :P

goddammit! i'd love to get the whole of backspacer but i already have around 4 tracks from it! I only have even flow from ten so i might pick that up. I also have a handful of who tracks negating any savings there. Will probs pick up the wolfmother one since i only have woman.

Really sh!tty that they don't have this on individual tracks

That's where they're hoping to catch people though. I'm the same with the who pack. I've a few of those, too many to justify actually buying all of them.

Tom Petty is a must though, I'll be getting that. I also suggest Megadeth album for anyone looking for BLISTERS ON THEIR FINGERS!!, cause that thing is though!

I'll be getting the Creedence Clearwater pack in the normal dlc tomorrow, first insta buy for me for a while. I refuse to buy Megadeth until I have gotten the monkey off my back that is Hanger 18 on expert in GH2, I blame the fact I can't use my wireless RB guitar in GH2 for this (thats my story and i'm sticking to it).

GH2 Hangar 18= got me into metal, I owe that cover a whole lot of thanks. I also 5 starred that! Oh back in the day when I was awesome at this genre :P

Let me just take this opportunity to shake my fist in the general directions of Harmonix HQ and whatever fridge-box or packing crate Nintendo Of Europe operate out of.

+1 for the Megadeth content - you haven't mastered Rockband till you've mastered the 'Deth.
Blood Sugar Sex Magic works out at just over 10 points per minute! Bargain!

I'm quite tempted to get Blood Sugar at that price...
