Faulty attic pump

    Water Pump
I have a pressurised water system delivering water under pressure to all parts of the house. This is powered by a pump in the attic water tank.
Recently the pump has become erratic, sometimes failing to start up when it's needed.
By experimenting, I found that I could get it to start up by disconnecting the power plug for a moment and plugging it in again.
    What could be the explanation?
The pump is a Steelpumps X-AJE 100 and was installed new only 2 years ago.
    Any suggestions, please?

could be a faulty pressure switch best bet is to find out who does the servicing for those pumps and get them out.

Thanks for the advice, Outkast IRE. If the problem persists that's exactly what I'll do.
