accommodation in UCD

    Hi,

    Hope to start in UCD in Sept. Which on-campus accommodation would you recommend? Do you know is there a difference in cost between the various residences? I cannot seem to be able to locate the prices on any website.

    I don't know if you get to choose as i never applied for accommodation while I was there. But I've been to all of the on campus residences and Glenomena is by far the best accommodations in terms of quality.

    And you should apply as soon as possible as there is high demand for them.

    booking opened up on the 16 of June

    the waiting list for first years is above 1500 now with only 880 available to that category so the odds of someone joining it now and getting a place is low, your best option is to look for off-campus

    I totally didn't pay attention to this new system at all :)

    now must alert my friend beginning in UCD next september..

    Quick question. I dont intend to apply this year but was wondering if it is possible to book a room as part of a group? Say if me and 2 of friends got into UCD would it be possible for us to get the same room? Or is that a bit naive to think? :confused:

    you get to pick your room so its just a matter of making sure you and your friends pick the same apartment and hope nobody else book one of the rooms before a friend does
