Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi all,
quick question.i was wrking part time casual hours and getting the casual workers assistance, due to lack of hours the boss is letting me go, just wondering will i now have to go through the hoops and apply for jobseekers benifit or can i just head to the dole office with my P45 and they will put me on JB automatically?
also, i have moved from where i was originally, can the dole get transferred or whats the craic there?
    thanks all

it all depends on how many contributions you have made and that can only be determined by SWO so once you are made redundant go straight down to them to get the ball rolling
it doesnt matter where you where originally as they all have same computer system
sorry to hear about the job and if they do drag their heals about paying you (it has been known :D) head round to you local community welfare officer who will supplement your payment until SWO decide on whether you get JSA or JSB
