Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ouch, that was nasty! Of all the places for it to hit, it picks one little 6" square along hundreds of yards of fencing......:pac:

    Nasty!

Tip: Don't stick your lens through a fence when there's cars doing 200mph on other side. :D

It seems it actually hit a video camera and the photographer just dropped his lens in an attempt to get away from the jack flying towards him?

Tip #2: Don't drive off until your pit crew are actually finished.

    That too!

I would bet that the 'tog got a new lens out of it. Bad boo-boo by the driver.

might not have been the driver's fault. you'll probably find there was a 'flag' guy in front of him giving signals about when to pull off - his mirrors might not give him a great view of someone dead centre behind him.

Doubt it. I'd say you sign a release to avoid such expenses on teams and race organisers. Enter at your own risk type thing.

Looks like the pit crew wanted to ger him out before the other guy in the pits so rushed it slightly. Great shot from the TV camera when the jack hits it though!
