I thought Fionnuala was great, she is obviously not familiar with that type of thing so a little nerves is no big deal. Would be great to see more coverage of her and other athletes on RTE.

If it is anything like last years coverage where they missed the last few mins of the mens race because they were interviewing a dog (an actual dog) who ran the 10k and spent 80% of the time on the panel or flyovers (not of the race but the nice buildings) rather than on the race.

Makes RTE coverage of DCM in 2011 look like the BBC coverage of the Olympics.

Seriously, a talking dog beats seeing what unknown second tier kenyan won the race any day of the week.

It was an interview with a dog but it was a tad one sided :)

What was the dog's time for the 10k? What breed of dog? Important questions.

I've been flicking through the 'live tv' Dutch stations, but haven't found any working links so far. :( Seems to have pretty poor international coverage for one of the big marathons. No live tracking either.

That's not good. I have a few athletes running and would be great.

There is one channel but on subcription...

Well, the lead runners are through half way in 1:02:05. They were on WR pace (with a projected finish of 2:03:38) but have slowed a little.
