You would think the IUAA. AAI, DCU, UCD, UCC, TCD athletic departments etc could string the finances together to pay aertv rather than hope that athletics fans would fork out their own money for coverage.

I do think athletes are very tight when it comes to paying into events such as the Nationals.I can also see the reason, would you see a premiership player pay into a match?
The livestream is fantastic,I struggle to make time to see these events with work ect.

Going forward surely the athletic departments should be looking at funding this.

McCarthy is pacing Coghlan over 1500m this weekend so should be interesting to see what JC can run.

Any reliable stream or TV coverage of the NY half marathon on Sunday next? It'll be interesting to see how a certain Mo Farah is going with London just four weeks away.

It's live on the bbc via the red button - not sure if this works outside the UK?

Coverage is rubbish - Mo Farrah fell and it took them 2 minutes to mention it :(

Commentary is terrible though. Farah tripped and he's still talking about the weather.

OMG who gave this guy a commentary job. I don't care if Sally lives in Portland, Oregon. Stop telling me where these people live/went to college and talk about what we are looking at - ie the runners, their positions, lets have a look at some of the other runners further down the line - he is yet to take a breath
