Van Persie must've been in the keeper's line of sight..I really doubt he wouldn't have got to it if Van Persie wasn't there..

3-1 up but the Dutch look poor enough. Their play is very laboured and pedestrian. Germany/Spain should have more than enough for them in the final but this is football and the Dutch will probably win it all!

It wouldn't make a difference I don't think. He was in the path of the ball with the very real possibility of the ball hitting off him. Not that it matters a huge amount now I guess. I'm happy anyway - had the Dutch backed each way since before the world cup.
