Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cycling in Turkey is... interesting. To be honest there are not a lot of cyclists there. You might want to rent a suit of armour while you are at it.

My advice would be take a holiday from cycling over there. The road surfaces are rubbish, footpaths/kerbs around .6m over road level, so no hope of hopping up on it in an emergency.

Drivers may not even see you as cyclists are so rare. I don't think I saw a cycle shop or bike hire over there.

Take the Dolmus - local bus, for a couple of euiro, far safer & a bit of fun.

    Enjoy Turkey

I would advise to skip past the polite 'no thanks' rebute to street hawkers and go straight for the 'no, I don't want to buy a fukcing t-shirt/watch/carpet, etc.'

Sorry, no advice on the bikes issue.
