Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi
I plan to with a few friends to cycle Donegal coast over 4 days. Talking 50 to 70 miles a day. I would like to know is it possible to hire Bike rack and Panners ( Bags that fit to the side of the rack) or where is handy to make a purchase? I have a Cube Race mountain bike not ideal for long tours but I have had it out on long bike rides and it is not so bad. I live in the Dublin area.

    Thanks

These brand x bags are rubbish in my opinion.
Just completed sligo to belfast at the weekend and bags are ripped in 2 places.
Teach me to not take any notice of so called customer reviews.
Spend an extra few euro on named brand as i will do now.

Herself and meself are touring Donegal with these. I wouldn't scrimp on panniers, particularly when you're expecting rain.

I bought a pair of the Ortlieb Back roller panniers recently and they really are excellent! If you think you'll be doing more touring in the future then i'd invest in them cause they will last you for years!
