Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I am actually not in favour of this.

    I much preferred it the way it was:

    Ballon d'Or voted for by sports writers

    FIFA WP voted by international managers and captains

    The new system of using all three dilutes the voting in my opinion.

    The player who wins the players award does not always win the writers award and vv.

    I think it was far better having the two seperate awards decided in two different manners.

    It would be interesting to see if Germany win the World Cup and Holland come 2nd, that way Bastian came 2nd in the CL, 1st in WC, Sneijder 1st in CL, 2nd in WC. Would be interesting to see who they would give it to. Bastian was more important to both off his teams I think though.
