Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iz1pDehH5-g This is a system BMW are putting into production in 2011, it moves the headlights so that it looks into corners instead of a rigid system we all have.

Anyone know of any systems like this on bikes already or maybe conversion kits for older bikes, either way, i want this system as night riding on country roads be dangerous :(

very impressive ...... video shows conventional view is a bit extreme and light seems to disappear once its off the road.

but nice idea from BMW - lets hope others can follow or create similar.

Didn't the old Citroën DS have a similar headlight arrangement?

Does it swivel up and down as well for night-time wheelies?

google told me that the new mondeo has the same tech, so it's new, but it is new to bikes.

This is old news in cars, and a bit of a gimmick IMO.

yeah, the conventional light looks like something found in a 90's disco - thing was moving all over the place!!!

You can mount lights on the forks wired to the headlight switch. Would be easy enough to do. They may not look the best and not too sure how to stabilise for wheelies

To be honest any bike with the headlamp mounted to the forks rather than the frame would do this any way.

I wouldnt have thought any more then frame mounted..? at slow speed yes of course, but as you speed up into countersteering territory, I'd imagine it to be the same, if not worse then frame mounted
