Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lezyne Micro Caddy - Mini Review

Couple of weeks ago I wanted to buy a mini saddle bag to fit only few things, a multitool, two levers and a tube so after a short research I bought this saddle bag off CRC and I thought since it's a common subject people looking for mini saddle bags to post up a quick mini review with it. So here goes:

    The fit:

Very easy to put, just pull the neoprene from each side of the saddle rails and tight it. It fits really snuggy (correct word?) under the saddle taking minimal space and doing absolutely zero noise. I 've done more or less 300kms with it, and I had no issues, it didn't move an inch.

The mini pocket for the multitool:

And the main compartment with the tube, the co2 canister and the two levers.

It costs 22euro, so it's not cheap, but it has all I wanted, it doesn't move around while riding like those that clip on, it fits what I wanted and it's completely noiseless. Mind that it's not waterproof, but just water resistant.

    And that's all!

Nice review AstraMonti, Good to know what it can fit in. Always find these saddle bags hit or miss when ordering online and only finding out the hard way it's either too big or too small for your needs.

Not taking the mick, just saying..

I could, but I don't like stuff in my pockets when climbing and on longer rides I need the pockets for extra clothing and food.

It's also not a great idea having multitools and other such hard things in your pocket in the event of a crash. Stick hard, pointy and delicate stuff in the saddle bag and everything else in pockets.

I wouldn't fit in my saddle bag :)

What you need is The Persuader, which comes complete with a glamorous assistant.

Ah, very good point, something I hadn't considered. I broke two ribs falling with a bike lock strapped across me earlier in the year, you'd think i'd learn but do I? Do I feck! ha ha..

Think I might order one of these now.

    LOL! :D
