Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Any advice appreciated

Chances are you'll balls up the camera.

Did the same many moons ago and accidently disloged a spring on the mirror.

Repair was free as the cam was still under warranty but the AF points were never quite the same again.

It could be dust on the mirror and a blast of an air rocket would dislodge it.

But if it's actual dust lodged up in the viewfinder then it's hard to remove.

Ah well , I'll have to learn to live with it until I upgrade I guess  thanks for the reply

I had that on my cam. Turned out to be a tiny hair on the focus screen. I used a dust grabber pen to get it off. Fine since. Check that before paying for a simple clean. A dust blower might do the trick either, use a light and look upward into the body, the glass screen on the top, flat, inside. Fine inspect the mirror too.

You could drop in and ask them - Marius (one of the lab technicians) is the one to ask for if you're getting anything cleaned as he'll tell you straight up whether it's worth it or whether trying would be a waste of time! (he's the one that actually does all the specialist cleaning work too)
