I’m interested to speak to anybody who has planted Miscanthus/Elephant Grass.

Why did you decide to go with miscanthus?

What kind of land did you plant? What was your previous farm experience – tillage/dairy/beef/other?

What were you told about the crop before hand?

Once the crop was planted what additional works did you have to do if any?

How many years before you got a crop and what yield? Were you happy with the yield?

How long were the bales sitting in your yard before they were collected?

Do you think it was worth it? Do you think it has a future?

Who (rhizome supplier/company) did you use?

How is your relationship with the rhizome supplier/company progressed over the years?

What do you want to know all this for? It sounds like you have some and aren't too happy.
