    The Barracks, on Tullow street

+1 on The Barracks. You're always near a TV, plus the seats are nice and comfy.

If you want a bit more of an atmosphere, Dinn Rí is often busy during games as they've three big screens. Seats can be hard to come by though.

There are lots of nice, smaller pubs which are great for drinking in, but wouldn't be great for matches. Try Tullow Street (the pedestrianised-by-day part) out afterwards if you're in Carlow for the night :)

Scraggs do the 3D thing don't they or was that just a one off thing for a premier league game?

only sky sports do the 3d thing, and they've no rights to the WC. The pub supporting spain in carlow is Tully's bar - you could get a good atomosphere in there
