Advert causing computer to 'freeze'?

I'm not very tech savvy, but hope this makes sense: Three times this week, my Mac G4, which normally gives little trouble, goes into the whirling beachball mode and freezes when I open a thread that has the 'Free connection online to Eircom Next Generation Broadband' advert under the first box on the page. Any idea why…

I'm not very tech savvy, but hope this makes sense:

Three times this week, my Mac G4, which normally gives little trouble, goes into the whirling beachball mode and freezes when I open a thread that has the 'Free connection online to Eircom Next Generation Broadband' advert under the first box on the page. Any idea why this happens, as it's very irritating to have to do a 'Force Quit' shutdown everytime!

Tonight I had just opened 'To know if others are using the wireless service' thread and it happened again. Help.
