    robbie the rule is
in all zones of a room containing a bath or shower every circuit shall be protected by an rcd having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30ma ,except circuits protected by selv.701.416.1

for 'safe isolation' i'd use a combination of 'voltage tester' and 'voltstick'
    and prove them first

30mA protection for all domestic circuits is the way forward imo

ya -but the meters prove 'safe isolation'

they use double pole(main switch) in the uk mind you for domestic -where they have a mix of supply types

lads have been killed- with single pole switches wired in the neutral conductor

Double pole main switch seems like a certain plus on mcb boards, along with rcbo`s on each circuit. Maybe 100ma one on cooker etc with so many elements. What was the thing someone said about freezers? seperate circuit RCD for them now? Or else a spur outlet
