Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fork Offset/Rake advise

    Hi,

I am looking at buying a new fork. The bike was originally designed to have a 43mm Offset. It has a 72 degree head angle. I see an Easton fork with the 43mm Offset, but I'm interested in getting a Ritchie fork which has a 45mm Rake. I think the Ritchie fork would be comparatively less stable handling, but I'm open to correction.

My question is: Would anyone know off the top of their head how to interpret the offset/rake and let me know which would be more stable? Also, is there really any difference at all?

    thanks in advance.
