Help With word

Hi,

Can anyone help me? I'm trying to set a template in word so that every document I save from now on will have the document name and path, the date and time saved and my initials in the footer. It will also have the company name and logo in the header at the top (I've already set that bit, I just can't get the footer to update itself).

Any help would be greatly appreciated - my head is melted tryin to do this!

You could alter the default template to reflect these needs. It's called Normal.dot do a search for it it's a hidden file. Open it alter it and save it back to it's original location and with the same file name.

If this file gets renamed or damaged, word will recreate it and it will be restored to it's default state, losing any changes you make to it.
