    Hey all,

    I'm a relatively IT proficent working in industry, my experience is pretty general, In a days work I could be asked to look at Windows, HTML, VBA, Javascript, computer hardware, sharepoint and just about anything else that runs on silicon. I'm personally interested in IT too which has helped me alot. My college background is an electronics & instrumentation degree, so I wouldnt have massive focus on a serious beards language like C (I have done a bit in my time).

    I have done a few training courses as part of work for some applications I use on a day to day basis. The format is usualy 3-5 days of training. I find it find good for software in general. There is now the possibilty of doing this for some programming courses with my employer. My questions are, is it a good way to boost programming skills or are you just confused. Does anybody know of any courses like this in Ireland or abroad?
