Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Odd Problem with VLC

I need to use VLC for work, for converting files and that lark. Now, when I go through it everything seems straight forward, I pick my original file, I set my destination, I pick the desired profile and I press convert/save... ... and nothing happens. I've been searching forums for an age and nobody seems to have this…

I've been searching forums for an age and nobody seems to have this problem and I'm afraid I'm quite stumped.

I was wondering if it was an access issue, but surely it would warn me if I didn't have the authorization to do a certain action, rather than just disappear and say nothing.

This is an odd one and I really don't know where to start to resolve it, so any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Why use VLC for converting files? A lot of VLC's support comes from FFMPEG and there's a very nice utility called WinFF that will convert the files. I always found VLC's conversion/streaming to be buggy

start with the basics and just reinstall vlc.
