Summer is ridiculous, I don't even want to contemplate the hours that some of us *cough*PerrinV2*cough* stayed up until playing MW2 last summer.

The best Black ops players take the game for what it is. They dont cry about guns/perks but instead learn to adapt to beat the game and still rule the roost. In essence they evolve and to take a leaf from Charles Darwin - natural selection will prevail and the stronger players will rise to the top. similar to the Lion remaining top of the food chain

Weaker players are the victims of evolution. They cry and whinge that life is unfair (game is unbalanced) so they die out (trade in the game). those that dont die out are forced to make adaptations to survive. Requesting that only certain guns/perks are used is similar to an ancient lizard evolving to a snake. The poor lizard was getting whipped daily. Unhappy with how life was (how Blops was made originally) he evolved into a snake so he may have a chance to compete with the stronger animals. Basically he changed the rules of the game so he wouldnt be whipped like a little bitch fish

Only saw that piece on Evolution from Shammy's quote as I ignore that user. Not replying to them meerly pointing out some flaws that others might believe as truths.

All the creatures mentioned have been around for hundreds of millions of years, each filling a particular niche within a certain enviroment. If they didn't something else would fill that niche. Snakes, lizards and fish all can coexist in the same habitat. Some may predate on others but that just means that any predators survival is dependant on a "lesser" creature. The saber tooth tiger died out because it was too specialised and when changes in it's environment occurred it wasn't able to adapt.

If an apocalypse came and only dogs were left. Which type or breed would dominate; the handbag dogs, the bow legged hip displacing dogs with skulls too small that causes seizures or the mutts survive? I think we all know the answer, you need only see that wild dogs are the most prolific predator in terms of hunt percentage success in Africa.

A better guage of evolutionary success is looking at what has lasted the longest or how prolific a species is, not what is top of the food chain. Hyenas and Lions are apex predators and depending on how bright the moon is will tip the balance in favour of one over another. Yet humans with only our brain have developed tools to displace them. An small to average sized ant colony has more neurons than a human brain so as soon as there is an xbox/ps3/wii controller suitable for insects we're all doomed and have to adapt to mice and keyboard or face extinction.

Was playing until 3am last night aswell and finished the night off with a few wager matchs as normal.

I had won 4 in a row in Sticks and Stones, so they went all out to stop me making it 5.

I was in first place and they all came out of the woodwork to tomohawk me.

I am not being defensive at all, just dont like the way this forum is moderated and the way its not really open to other clans and it has a kinda click to it.

Me personally I wouldnt consider us the best HCCTF clan in the world. Infact 4 of us got our asses handed to us by a american clan with 6 last night. They spawn trapped the entire match with grenade launchers. Not complaining about the tactic, it was our problem for not being able to deal with it.

It's rough being on the otherside of a spawn trap, doesn't happen often but when it does it seriously pisses ya off! Joined a boards match last week on WMD for lulz, demolition I think, went about 8/10-40 and I only played 1 round! Completely trapped, anytime I managed to get a run I was taken out by one of the many hinds or dogs suffice to say I won't be doin it again in a hurry

those private matches are great craic - its so much better than stomping on Noobs. On friday I think I got a long distance head shot on your camping ass through the window on cracked :P Just about to celebrate to the sweet sound of a ping when my internet logged off - bandwidth used for the month :mad:

These american guys from last night were the type of clan that memorise all the spawn points and as soon as you spawn they are prone in a bush with a grenade launcher.

I dont see how you weren't being defensive... ade was simply asking if anyone wanted to a scrim to msg his mate..... Don't see how you can take what he said as condescending since this IS the boards clan thread (More or less) while the IRL is over on the xbox thread.

You guys just seem to have a chip on your shoulders for whatever reason, its pretty clear to see for any neutral on this forum.

And i know you aren't the best HCCTF clan, even if it is such a tiny playlist.

It is not a thread for clans, it is a thread for people to discuss games held with other boardies that they added in this thread as per the OP.
Some people here are up for competitive games against other clans and it is open. There have been some questioning of the rule set of a recent proposal, but there is interest.
As for the moderation, please shush.

In my quote I never refered to a specific thread so your wrong on that point. I was refering to the whole CoD forum which in my eyes is only open to people of a certain click.

Also if you look back on the last 2 pages I am not bringing up anything about clan first. It is infact people who are not a member of the same clan as I am that are bringing it up and I am simply just answering them and the poor moderation I am refering to is when El Loco see's all my posts reported, and all yours or someone else not in the IRL clan reported, who do you think will get the infraction or ban?

In terms of the Decerto ruleset for Black Ops, we ban Famas and Aug, as well as G11, LMG's, and shotguns.

Flashbangs and Smokes are the only tactical, grenade is only lethal. No equipment. Perks are limited to Lightweight/Sleight of Hand/Ninja Pro [or Marathon Pro].

No equipment at all, attachments that are banned are: extended mags, dual mags, noob tubes, underbarrel shotgun, flamethrower, think that's it.

You'll finally mainly an AK47 no attachment, or MP5 red dot and an M16 red dot as the most popular classes.

Feel free to message me to just get an play a few games with us, we're all mature adults(ish). I'm 21, and the other 2 are 21 and 17. Both myself and the other 21 year old are students whilst the 17 year old works full time so we mainly tend to play for 2 hours or so in the evening where we'll scrim or just muck about playing Zombies or other games.

Tom, I have been trying to find the list of rules as per Decerto. Now I cannot find a list on their website, but they do indirectly link to the EU GB ruleset which they claim to have invented. This list is not as restrictive as your list as it allows Ex-mags on some guns and actually gives some choice on what perks people can use.
