Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,
If anyone could help itd be great. Setting up as a childminder from home (registered and insured) and need to register as self employed to do so. Sitting here trying to fill in the TR1 and have no idea which parts I need to do. I find forms like this difficult!
What date should I put for Q 17, (to what date will annual accounts be made up).
Im renting my house where I will work from, do I need to fill in landlord details?
Am I registering for income tax (I think yes), which box do I tick?
Do I need to fill in any of part C or D?

May be stupid questions but finding it hard!!

Thanks for any help at all!!

    Lisa

Its normally simplest to keep your accounts to a calendar year so accounts made up to 31/12/2010. If you've hired an an accountant they may have a preference as to when your accounts should be made up to.

No need to fill in landlord details
Yes you are registering for income tax.

If your not registering for VAT or hiring people you don't have to fill in parts C or D

As always thats my opinion not professional advise
