Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tax rebate theory

I am terrible with anything to do with taxation and just realised that I could have been claiming back on my Pension. I haven't claimed anything since 2002 on it, which is when I started it. I have the RAC cert from 2002 . Can I claim for that long or will it only be the last 4 years they will take into consideration.

    Also, I don't have my p60s from 2006 and 2007. What can i do if I don't have these.

    Hi

You cant claim a refund past 4 years ago.

However if you have not claimed your pension in a year you can carry any unclaimed amounts forward to the next year. However the maximum amount of tax relief is limited to a percentage of total income which varies with age.

    Hope this helps.

The tax office should already have these details on record, from the employers return (p35)

No harm in ringing to check though!
