Credit Union Loan

So I got a CU loand to buy a car. I got the CU to put the name of the garage on the cheque. However I've now decided not to go with the initial garage and to go with someone else. Anyone know would their be much of an issue with chamges the name on the cheque with the C.U.? I'm assuming it'll be ok but would rather be 100%…

Not an issue at all, happens all the time.
Happens a few times every week for every branch in fact, I know from working as a cashier though not in a credit union

They should be no charge for this
