There is an Irish company doing them. I just found it on Google but closed it down before I came to reply and cant be arsed getting it again. Just google collection boxes anyway.

They have no price, rather a contact me form, which means they have many prices. You just need to haggle.

Other than that I would ask somebody like The Search & Rescue crowd as they are always collecting so must have a source for them.

Anyone know which building on the UL map below would be the
"PESS" building ? would it be the sports building No.27 ?
also I dont know where the Main Arena would be :o
    http://www.ul.ie/main/places/campus.shtml

Have not been out in UL direction in years there's a heck of a lot more
buildings now than its NIHE days.

Yeah it's the old sports building down near the river. Main arena is the new sports building, biggest building on campus, if you come in the white gates it's the building straight in front of you.

    That's the one.
The PESS building is the old sports building with the pyramid-esque shape. And the diving pool. :)

The main arena, if you're driving in through the the white gates (the East gate) it's the first building on your right after driving on about 50m.

anyone know where we'd get/borrow some charity collection buckets to use at outbreak? And know anyone who'd like to sponsor up some tshirts in exchange for popping a logo on there?

What charity are you fundraising for anyway?

Are you involved with any of the people doing the other zombie events? If they're not on at the same time, might be a good place to get that sort of stuff.

Can I just take a moment to express my surprise and delight that the sweet shop on Roches st is still open? I really didn't think it would last.

It's a UK Franchise so tried and tested model I guess. There is one now in Ennis as well but much smaller. I think the prices stink so I didn't go back a second time. Most of the stuff you can get other places.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,916 ✭✭✭RonMexico

True. Local corner shops have all that stuff and at cheaper prices.

Yup. In the Red Raisins cafe in the Foundation building.

    There's also a Starbucks.

...I think they're both still up there anyway, I haven't been there in about 9 months :o

Apparently Tea is the new well Tea. It has become fashionable again especially the far flung blends of Tea.

A Russian Caravan blend is quite nice or a Red Berry Tea. Must be loose leaf / loose pyramid bags to qualify though.

    Try this company. http://www.suki-tea.com

Tea is only good only as long as its Barry's Tea!

Get your tea bag and rip it open. Rub the leaves / ground crap in your palm and throw the rest in the bin. If your hands have a stain left on them then your tea has been stained with a darkening agent..............meaning it's crap tea which is taken from cheap ass farms. They use the darkening agent so it looks drinkable in your tea.
