my wife just recognised why yer man on the apprentice showing on tv3 right now seemed so familiar, he's the son of the guy that owns the restaurant in the sports arena in UL! she mentioned he was often behind the counter when she used go in after her workout... :)

EDIT: it doesnt look like limerick will be getting a new restaurant any time soon after what it has to be said was an absolutely dismally written pie in the sky business plan, and an even worse business pitch! :|

Was a joke of a pitch to be honest. Top prize on the show is a package meant to be worth €200k, and in goes Limerick's finest with no proper details to his business plan and then says he needs a €2.1m investment.:D

Odin only knows where he thought he was going to start up a 12,500 square foot restaurant in the city centre.

Gas as well when he said there would be different fish on his menu. He gets asked to name a fish he would use and could not name a fish.:D

Over the 12 or so weeks of the show he came across as a decent enough sort, but not the brightest.

A woman after my own heart. Stephenseseseseseseses day comes from a bunch of muck savage silage eating country bumpkins. I heard one on the radio this morning with Hector(also a right bumpkin head) saying Stephenses.

That and Tesco(s) really gets me. And while I'm at it. Dear people of Kileely, Moyross, Thomondgate. It is NOT Supervalu anymore, it has been a Eurospar for a long long time. Get with it FFS.

Visited M&S(I know I know - you haters) and Iceland in Clonmel. We really could do with an Iceland. The prices are good and the choice is great. 3 Litres of Dr Pepper(1 Bottle) for €2.00 and other nice things. We were slightly hungover so bought the usual crap we really don't need but Rum & Raisin Ice Cream. That is one of lifes necessities. :D

One big dissapointment about the place is Stacy Solomon is the new "Face" of Iceland.

Oh god no - i would take M&S over Iceland anyday - Iceland is full of artificial junk! Besides that ad with Stacy Solomon does my head in!
