Ah now 6'3 is not really tall. I like to see it as being a pretty average height. ;)

Mind you that height makes me the shortest male in my immediate family so I have to see it as not being tall.:D

See how good I was there in not mentioning someone else on here.......:pac::pac:

Yeah, very true! Great self restraint, I know how easy it is to give in and tease a certain someone :D

I would never stoop to such a low level. That kind of remark would be beneath me and very smalltime.

I would even have a tiny bit of guilt if I was short with that person.

Yeah, best to rise above comments like that, after all it was made by a small person. Sorry, I meant a small minded person ;)

How much is the rip off limerick tunnel going to be now after the VAT increase tmw. (Waste of time having a tag) costs a fortune!!

Limerick tunnel isn't a rip off. Like anything else that is costing a fortune, don't use it if you don't have to.

Actually I would agree that it is a rip off, but I would not say that based on toll charges. I think it is a rip off because when it fails to make it's financial targets ( and it has been failing to hit those from day one) it has it's shortfall paid up by the taxpayer. Nice deal that one, in that they are guaranteed their profits even if people stopped using it completely.

would somebody correct me if im wrong, but passing through the toll booth on the way to shannon, i happened to notice that the charge is €5.70 for an articulated lorry, both ways that'd be €11.40, i thought "christ, thats a bit of a rip!", and it reminded me of the congestion charge in london, so just googling there now, i see it's £9 sterling. so, theres a hell of a difference even taking into account the WHOLE size of ireland and comparing it to the city of london, london is still twice as big, so the toll charge does seem exorbitant in that sense.

the reason i looked at how much an artic lorry costs through the tolls is because my father in law is a self employed freight driver who mainly works out of the docklands in dublin, so, (you'll have to forgive the head but that cheap baileys immitation stuff is lethal! :D) just totting it up, a delivery from the docks in dublin, say going to shannon (although he does be mostly going through the cork tunnel), and then back up to dublin, having to pay tolls each way (he has one of them electronic pass cards), that'd add up to a fairly nice bit on a daily basis, and he gets billed by the month... *counts on fingers*... jeeeeaaaaaysus!

A couple of pins on the plug of my laptop charger got broke over Xmas so I'll be needing to replace it.
    It's a common enough Acer (5920).
I am going to try Maplins on the Childers Road but can you recommend any other stores who supply computer parts?
Much help needed on this one, Internet from iPhone is a drag.

If ye book far enough in advance, you can get it for a tenner each way which is handy enough. It's been at least six months since I've been stung for the full fare at short notice (€58 like wtf?).
