Any word on new potential units opening in the Crescent? I can't see HMV being idle for long. Must be trying to attract some new tenants to the new extension out front too.

It's a big unit hard to imagine what would go in there

Edit: might be a prime place for dealz

A Bershka would suit perfectly with the current offering down that way.

I was in the Crescent on Saturday and work was taking place in the former HMV unit so it looks like they've secured an occupier.

Another Golden discs/Hmv type shop would be very handy there :cool::cool:

Where is the best place to park around Thomond Park? I'm taking the little guy to the Halloween party tomorrow afternoon and have no idea about parking on that side of town.

Sometimes you can park in the stadium car park for events like this. Other than that park in LIT or roadside parking between Thomondgate and LIT

Thanks. I'd looked it up but everything was about match-day parking and suggested parking in the city centre and walking but I don't especially fancy doing that while wearing a witches cloak and trying to give small Spiderman a piggyback.;)

Just a heads up for anyone who uses the bus service. Fares are set to increase again next month from 2.10 to 2.20. Fares on Leap Card are increasing by only 1c to 1.61. It's worth investing in one.

:(:(The only thing i hate about this type of yr is It brings out all the twat drivers who cant park or & Drive. & all the scumbags seem to be out all around the shopping centres. Very hard to do anything unless u go early in the morn.:cool:

Went for food in The Buttery on Bedford Row before the Munster match on Friday night and it was great.
A packed piri piri chicken burger, along with sweet potato chips/regular chips, a few onion rings and a dip was €13 I think but it was well worth it.

    How/where do you get one?

You can get it at the bus station afaik. Then top it up in various stores around town. I normally top mine up in Easons but I don't think they have new cards there.

Has anyone seen those large rolls of blue tissue for sale anywhere, preferably in a large pack of 6 or more?

They are the tougher tissue for use in garages etc.
