    It's been a couple of months since we've had the chance to sit down and get everything into order, so here's an update for those who are curious. We toured out to Texas in May for Chaos In Tejas and had a great time working our way through the South and Midwest. Some shows were really small, some shows were really big, but every single show had something that made it worthwhile. We'd like to thank everyone who helped us out, checked us out, or just showed up. We'll definitely be back in the coming months.

    We've got lots of things happening in the future that we're really excited about, primarily our new 7"s on React! and Deranged and our upcoming appearance at Fort Reno. We recorded both singles at Inner Ear Studios, with Don Zientara manning the boards again. Some of the songs are the first we ever wrote with this iteration of the band, others were written weeks before we entered the studio, but all of them represent where we're headed as a band. Pre-orders for the React! Records single, entitled "Heaven is Waiting" were posted on the React! website at http://itstimetoreact.com in early June, but you can still order now to get a copy before it's available anywhere else. Our other single, entitled "Boots of Faith" is coming out on Deranged Records around August. You can check http://www.derangedrecords.com for more info. We just posted "Boots of Faith" on our Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/pages/GIVE/193927652139. We have a ton of new songs, many of which you've heard if you've seen us in the past six months. We're making plans for another batch of singles on some other great labels. After that we'll hunker down and do an LP. Speaking of 12" records, we've still got some copies of our debut 12" EP available from http://moonflowerrecords.bigcartel.com. We're on to the second pressing, which is on pretty pink vinyl.

    Show wise, we've been taking it easy since we got back from tour. We only have two shows booked at the moment. One is next Thursday(7/15/10) at Fort Reno Park in Washington, DC. You can find more information at http://www.fortreno.com. If you're not familiar with Fort Reno, it's a D.C. tradition and we're honored to be a part of it. Amanda MacKaye, who is responsible for releasing some of our favorite (Sammich) records is behind the concert series, so we're extra glad we made the cut. All shows are free (although donating to Fort Reno helps them keep it going), outdoors, and all ages. Our other show is at Sound and Fury Festival in Santa Barbara, CA. We play on Saturday (7/24/10), and I'd bet we're playing pretty early. You can find more info at http://www.soundandfuryfestival.com/.
