Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Clearly the best choice as it was going to be another Liverpool mod anyway!

Nah seriously, great choice. Top poster.

    Congrats.

Is there a "This is Anfield" sign on the soccer mods office?

Anyway best of luck SlickRic. Despite your allegiances, I always read your (mostly!) informed opinion in the United thread.

Maybe the Liverpool fans on this forum are the most level headed...?

That goes without even saying, anytime the cameras pan onto the crowd in the 'theater of delusions' I am amazed at the specimens they have supporting them.

Or maybe your compensating for something else. That we have.

Either way I'm the best looking on here, so your point is null.

I've been absolutely gutted all day tbh, but if I did have to miss out it might as well have been to Slick. Better to have lost to the best than not to have competed at all, as the Waterford hurlers find out every year.

Well done Slick and best of luck.

Fair play to you, when I posted I taught someone was going to come back with that silly harry enfield scousers wig & tash pic but thats much better.I take my hat of to you.

Before anybody asks,if I had to pick life or death etc it would be the one on the left much better body.

I bet you'd choose 'death' if you were told you would have to go down her

Probably some dumbass questions but here goes :

    Do mods get paid ?

Is it a full time job(probably relates to the above)?

How do you become a mod?

Mods do not get paid. It is purely voluntary and those that do it generally do it to give something back to the forum that they have gained a lot of enjoyment from.

It is as much of a time consumer as the particular mod wants to give it. Part of the process is that a mod will be around a reasonable aount of time, but no time demands are ever placed on them.

    You become a mod if:
    a) The current mods think that you would do a good job as a mod and fit in as part of the mod team.
    b) Cmods/Admins approve of the choice. It can be vetoed and has been in many cases.
    c) The user in question wants to do it when offered the role.
